Mountain Pine School District is settled in one of the smallest cities in Arkansas. There is not much going for it, because ever since the largest company in the city, Weyerhaeuser, shut down Mountain Pine plunged into debt, which it lost its theater, general store, doctors office, and many more businesses. Now Mountain Pine is a town with only thirteen streets in the white quarters and seven streets in the black quarters, a school, and a dam that creates energy for Louisiana. (Louisiana makes energy for Arkansas and vise versa)

There are 15 flights.

If the grade goes back up to a 70 or higher then you are back in ILT

You remain in ILT until the grade drops below a 70% in any class (A C-Average isn't that hard to make.)

Mountain Pine has a Flex- Mod schedule (meaning that certain classes have x amount of minutes each day, and meet x amount of times a week)

Terrible district. Kids were cruel, education was behind, and they never set up a meeting for my 504 plan. One good thing was that the teachers were nice, and always tried to help me.

If the grade doesn't change, drops, or doesn't quite hit a 70% You are sent to SLT (Structured Learning Time) Where you are locked in for 10 days regardless of grades, when those 10 days are up, you are back in ILT (if the grade goes up to a 70%), if not, then it's another 10 days of SLT.

If you are not scheduled into a class,You are placed in ILT (independent learning time) which is super productive! It also gives you time to talk to friends, work on homework etc. (Whilst following school rules of course)

Phase 3 classes: (Composed of mostly electives) These classes meet 3 times per week.

Block length of either Phase 3 or Phase 4 varies between 3 blocks and 1 block

In the event you drop below a 70% (C) You go to MLT (Mandatory Learning Time) Which is where you are in with the teacher, getting help, doing work that you haven't done (Which may result in a LATE grade or a zero depending on the teacher)

Phase 4 classes: (Composed of mostly core classes) These classes meet 4 times per week.
